Historic Charm Hotel in the centre of Ghent

Charme Hotel Hancelot is located next to the beautiful Zuidpark and is a 15 minute walk to the Belfort and Saint-Bavo Cathedral. You can also take the tram or bus, which will take 5 minutes. The stop is located 40 meters from the hotel. Also the Art Quarter, Capitole Theater, movie theaters, ICC and some of the finest restaurants are in walking distance. Around the corner is the ‘Klein Begijnhof Ter Hoyen’, which is proclaimed as World Heritage.

Our breakfast is served every morning, with a variety of local products in our majestic breakfast room next to the lobby.

The hotel provides free WiFi. It also holds a meeting room and a city garden. Parking is also possible, preferably on request.

Our reception is open everyday from 7:00 until 22:00. Guests can check in from 15:00 until 22:00. Anyone who would like to check in later would have to contact the hotel for confirmation. Luggage can be stored in the hotel before check in time, we will make sure everything is safely placed inside your room.

Given the specific nature of the hotel, the building does not have a lift/elevator.

A Monumental mansion with history

The building in which Hancelot is located was built by a textile baron and holds 12 rooms divided over 3 upper floors. The authentic character, which falls under momument care, was preserved as much as possible during renovations. De spacious rooms all have their own bathroom.
